Sustainability and Circular Economy Module 1 – Introduction and Overview

This module is designed to provide an introduction to the concept of corporate sustainability and the circular economy. It defines the key principles of corporate sustainability and gives an overview of the three sustainability pillars: environmental, social and economic. The module demonstrates for learners why sustainability and the role of employees/departments is important in building a sustainable future, and the key principles and benefits of a circular economy. 

The drive for introducing sustainable corporate practices into the workplace is intensifying; departments and employees alike have a responsibility to equip themselves with the knowledge and understanding they are going to need to embrace and support new and better ways of working.
