This module is all about climate change mitigation. The importance of mitigation is discussed as well as the existing implementation successes and challenges. Decarbonisation methods such as renewable energy sources are described, and both global and UK-specific climate mitigation are demonstrated. 

This module will empower learners with a greater understanding of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses, and the impact of climate change on the environment. It aims to motivate and energise people into take meaningful action to reduce their carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices in their personal and professional lives.

Our Climate Change Knowledge suite has been designed to empower learners with a greater understanding of climate change and the impact it is having on the environment. 

It aims to motivate and energize learners into taking meaningful action to reduce their carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices in their personal and professional lives.

For organisations looking at Carbon Literacy Certification, the suite aligns with the Carbon Literacy Project's Knowledge Framework and has been approved by the CLP as comprising 50% of the Carbon Literacy training course. The other 50% is completed on Teams with a small group of delegates and one of our Carbon Literacy trainers.
